About My Dream Job
Plumber
The ideal dream job that I want to pursue as a career of mine is to become a Plumber. A plumber installs and repairs appliances such as water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and other related appliances in the bathroom of a home or business. I would like to work at any business that values the hardship of plumbing and can guide me correctly on how to become an even better plumber throughout my time being there. Luckily, there are more than enough plumbing jobs out there that offer those and more.
The company that I would like to go to to continue pursuing my career is at Wilbur Plumbing Incorporation located at Ypsilanti, Michigan. This is a long awaited dream job of mine to work at. I know ex-workers who have worked there in the past and they have advised me at an early age that Wilbur Plumbing Inc. offers safety and everything else needed to become a plumber. They take plumbing seriously as a profession and I am all for that.
To be qualified as a plumber, it is required to be involved and trained through a trade school or an apprenticeship program. I would have to take an apprenticeship program, which takes around 4-5 years of paid on-the-job experience. Not only that, but plumbing is also physically demanding and requires physical strength. It is also a necessity to be able to read and understand blueprints and drawing figures for on the job site.
Plumbers are very wealthy people and make a good living out of plumbing for many years. Plumbers usually make up to $21 an hour with a salary of $54,486 with a range between $47,390- $62,338.
